Shipping & Pricing

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to almost all countries expect a few where shipping is currently restricted from Japan (like Russia). Standard International shipping to all orders is $4.20. Please see the Shipping Information page for more details! 

Do you offer tracked shipping?

We are now offering Tracked Priority Shipping that you can choose at the checkout. Unfortunately, this option is quite expensive (the prices range from $14-28 depending on your location). There are currently no cheaper alternatives for international tracked shipping from Japan.

How long does it take to prepare an order?

Your order is taken to the post office within 1-4 business days (Mon-Fri). You will receive a shipping confirmation email after the items have shipped.

Please note that the items are shipped from Japan, which means that there is no shipping on Japanese National Holidays which might be different from the National Holidays in your country.

What are the average shipping times?

After receiving a shipping confirmation email, the average shipping times when you choose the Standard Shipping are as follows:

- Europe: 6-12 business days

- US: 8-14 business days

- Everywhere else: 6-14 business days

With Priority Shipping, the average times are 2-6 business days everywhere in the world


However, please keep in mind that delays due to customs are not calculated in our estimated delivery times!

What is the original currency of the shop?

The original currency in the shop is USD ($). If you shop with your own country's currency, the prices might change slightly according to the recent currency conversion rates. You can set the prices to USD with the Country/region drop-down selector at the bottom of the page (you are able to correct your location back at the checkout).

Returns, Exchanges & Lost Orders

Can I return or exchange an item?

Unfortunately, we don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations of orders that have already shipped.

However, if you received a damaged item or are not happy about the order for some reason, please don't hesitate to contact us at contact@papermonogatari.com and we can surely figure out a solution together.

I made a mistake in the order information!

If you made a mistake when ordering a product, forgot to use a coupon code or gave a wrong address and didn't get a shipping notification yet, no worries! Just send us an email (faster reply) or contact via Instagram DMs and we can fix it for you!

My order hasn't arrived and I think it's lost

If it's been anywhere from 1-3 weeks after receiving your shipping confirmation email, your order is most likely still on the way. We're sorry for the long wait, but hope the items will reach you very soon! Packages getting lost is very rare!

However, if it's been 4 weeks or more from receiving the shipping confirmation email, there is a chance that the package is lost. In this case, please don't hesitate to contact us at contact@papermonogatari.com to review the situation and figure out the best solution together.

Digital Items

I didn't receive a download link for my digital items

If you still received an Order Confirmation Email you can access the download link by going to your Order Confirmation Email, clicking View Your Order and downloading the items from the Thank You- page of the order.

If you didn't receive an Order Confirmation Email, it might be a good idea to check your email spam folder in case the email went there. There might also be a rare case where the system thought there is an order from a bot and it doesn't let it go through.

In this case, please don't hesitate to contact us at contact@papermonogatari.com and we will resend the files for you!

Does the download link to my digital items expire?

The download link doesn't expire but there is a limit to how many times you are able to download the items (this is to prevent misuse and sharing of the files). If you have any problems downloading your products, please don't hesitate to contact us and we can reactive your access to it manually.

I have the download link but have trouble downloading the files

After clicking the download button, the files in most cases automatically go into your device's Downloads folder (unless you have designated a specific folder for your downloads). 

After locating the file, you will need to extract the .zip file by right-clicking the file and choosing the extract option. This will open up the separate folders of your Digital Item that include the individual .JPG images.

However, if you have tried this and it still doesn't work out, please don't hesitate to contact us at contact@papermonogatari.com and we will be happy to help!

Where can I use the digital items?

You are allowed to use any digital items on your personal and non-profitable projects, like in your bullet journal or digital calendar. Please feel free to also share pictures of the pages you have created with them on social media!

You are not allowed to use the designs as part of marketing, productions, or own design projects (for example logo/website).​ You are not allowed to sell or distribute the files forward or claim any of the content as your own.

Custom Orders & Licenses

Do you make custom orders like paintings or logo designs?

Custom orders are not our main focus at the moment, but we're open to hearing your offer! Please contact us via email or sen an Instagram DM.

Do you sell products for Wholesale?

Due to the seasonal/limited nature of most of our products, all of them are not available for Wholesale.

However, we're open to hearing your Wholesale offer for the Basics Collection items! Please contact us via email at contact@papermonogatari.com

Can I buy a special license for your artwork?

We're open to selling a license for some of the artwork.

The license covers the usage of the item for branding purposes, website layout, packaging, etc.

The license doesn't cover the usage for end production or for any items that are sold by your company. Any items cannot be trademarked (even if used in a logo) and they are not exclusive, meaning that other parties are able to buy the same license too.​

I'm an influencer and would like to promote your products

That's great to hear! However, since we're still a small shop, we have a very limited budget for sending free items for influencers so we cannot guarantee that we can work with you. Please contact us via email or on Instagram DMs and let's see if we could help each other! :)
